Food Forestry Education and Community

video thumbnail
Have you ever wondered how to create a sustainable community hub for learning that is in a forest or garden? How can one acknowledge the land deeply, whilst living in accordance with it? How can you get started with food forestry? Monique Sayers speaks with guest Vanessa Aires with a wealth of experience in Portugal.

Vanessa Aires is a dreamer with open eyes and a compulsive question maker, it's in the observation of ecosystems that she finds her peace and inspiration. In children she finds the faith she needs to fulfill her life mission: to cooperate in order to empower more resilient and caring communities.
Combining her training as a Development Psychologist with independent training in different areas, from nature-based facilitation to natural systems design, she aims to actively contribute in the development of safe hubs which promote humans' (small & grown ups) connection with nature, based on their communities and towards a living symbiose with other ecosystems.
