Padraig Harrington FURIOUS Over Henrik Stenson's BETRAYAL..

Henrik Stenson's departure for LIV Golf, which led to the Swede losing his role as 2023 Ryder Cup captain when the Cup travels to Rome the following year, has caused unheard-of turmoil inside Team Europe. Padraig Harrington was Padraig Stenson's deputy captain for the 2021 Ryder Cup at Whistling Straits in September. When queried about the issue before last week's Senior Open Championship at Gleneagles, Harrington expressed his disappointment with Stenson's choice.

Stenson, along with Lee Westwood, Sergio Garcia, Paul Casey, and Ian Poulter, is one of many seasoned European players who have switched from the PGA and DP World Tours to LIV Golf. Despite the setback with Stenson, according to Harrington, who serves on the selection committee for Team Europe, the group will be prepared for the next fall.
