This talk will introduce you to the plants you probably pass every day, and their intriguing properties and adaptations to urban life. During the talk, Dr Bethan Stagg also shares tips for learning plant identification, including memory aids, mobile apps, nature journals and making your own plant collections. Dr Bethan Stagg is a research fellow exploring attitudes and learning for biodiversity at the University of Exeter, with a particular focus on plants and invertebrates in local environments.
