Le changement climatique vu du Mont Everest | Actu de science

Les phénomènes climatiques de haute montagne, peu étudiés du fait des difficultés d’accès et des conditions extrêmes, sont encore mal connus. L’expédition « Perpetual Planet » menée en 2019 sur le mont Everest, la plus haute montagne du monde, a réalisé des observations in situ. Ses premiers résultats portent sur les précipitations, le recul des glaciers et la pollution plastique sur ce site, l’un des plus reculés au monde.
