Changing the Gaze - Journey into the North East of India | Rami Niranjan Desai | TEDxNMIMSIndore

video thumbnail
Ms Rami addressed the perception around the northeast that it was hugely dangerous, predominantly tribal and mostly inaccessible, and made people realize this through the Gazes she had in her journey. She identified her first gaze as being unaware of things and speculative. Her second gaze revolved around how North Eastern people think we are outsiders to them, and the final look was of how people believed the distortion of North Easter. Ms Rami very beautifully unravelled the paradise unexplored.
