Although Nikola Tesla is now considered one of the greatest geniuses of all time, the brilliant inventor, physicist and electrical engineer was always overshadowed by his more famous colleagues during his lifetime. Today, however, we know that some of Tesla's ideas and inventions made the modern world possible in the first place.
