Film..Chori chori,1956
Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy film directed by Anant Thakur, with music by Shankar Jaikishan and lyrics by Hasrat Jaipuri and Shailendra. It stars Raj Kapoor and Nargis in lead roles.The film is an unofficial remake of the American film It Happened One Night.Bhagwan Dada, Pran, David, and Johnny Walker have character parts. This was the last film of Nargis and Raj Kapoor together as leads, with Nargis doing one cameo appearance in the Raj Kapoor starrer Jagte Raho. The music of Chori Chori had popular tracks including "Aaja Sanam", "Yeh Raat Bheegi Bheegi" in the voices of Lata Mangeshkar and Manna Dey; "Jahan Mein Jati Hun" by Lata and Manna and "Sawa Lakh Ki Lottery," by Mohammad Rafi.The movie would later inspire the unofficial 1991 Hindi re-make Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin, directed by Mahesh Bhatt and starring Aamir Khan and Pooja Bhatt. Like Chori Chori it too became a hit. Sequences for songs "Pachchi Banoo Udti Phiroon" and "Jahaan Main Jaati Hoon" were shot and released in Technicolor. This was known to be AVM Productions's first film to contain sequences in color. The film was later entirely remastered and recolourised.
This Bollywood film released in the year 1956. The direction of the film is handled by Mr Anant Thakur and the music composition is done by Shankar Jaikishan. The lyrics for the film were penned by Mr Shailendra and Hasrat Jaipuri. This film is considered as an unofficial remake of "It Happened One Night" which is a Hollywood movie. The star cast of the film includes Nargis and Raj Kapoor in the lead roles along with Pran, Johnny Walker and Bhagwan Dada. This movie is the last screen appearance by Raj Kapoor and Nargis together, post which their alleged affair ended.

Storyline :-
Kammo, affectionately called Baby (Nargis),  runs away from home when her father Seth Girdharilal (Gope) refuses to agree to her marriage with pilot Suman (Pran), who he suspects is just after her for her money. Kammo decides to go to Suman in Bangalore. She boards a bus for Bangalore and here, she encounters impoverished journalist Sagar (Raj Kapoor). After the initial bickering, he decides to help her to get to Bangalore provided he gets exclusive rights to her story. And along the way as they make their way to Bangalore without getting caught, the inevitable happens. The two of them fall in love…
