Garth Britzman, of Brookings, South Dakota, is a senior Architecture major at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He serves on the Executive Committee of the American Institute of Architecture Students. Britzman's service on the Environmental Sustainability Committee furthers his interests in sustainability and environmental conservation. Britzman believes that creativity in design inspires innovation.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
