POLICE ARREST SACRAMENTO MAN ON HUMAN TRAFFICKING AND DRUG CHARGES

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (PSN) — Sacramento police arrested a 39-year-old man on a slew of charges including human trafficking, pimping, pandering, drug sales, and resisting arrest, authorities said Friday.

The arrest came after investigators, on a pre-planned operation, located the wanted suspect identified as Tyrone Orr of Sacramento in the 200 block of Jibboom St late last night. According to the Sacramento Police Department, Orr attempted to flee but was ultimately detained and arrested.

Details provided by the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office revealed that Orr, booked under the name Tyrone Dartell Orr, was processed into the Sacramento County Main Jail at 4:45 AM today. The inmate information indicated charges against Orr, with a total bail set at $2,000,000.00.

According to the Sheriff's Office, Orr faces charges including possession for sale of controlled substances, resisting or obstructing a public/peace officer/ER technician, pimping, procuring another person for the purpose of prostitution, and victim trafficking under 18 years of age.

Orr's next court appearance is scheduled for April 30, 2024, at 3:00 PM at Department 62 of the local courthouse.
