Will Supreme Court do an enormous favor for trump and grant his request to stay/pause his DC trial? |

Donald Trump is asking the courts to make up something that does not exist in the law: absolute presidential immunity against being prosecuted for crimes committed while in office.
Both the trial court judge and a three-judge appellate court panel ruled that there is no such thing as absolute presidential immunity. Trump is expected to ask the United States Supreme Court to put a hold on his criminal case in DC rather than let it move in the direction of trial. Trump's suspected goal is to delay the case until after the 2024 presidential election in hopes of winning the White House and then ordering his Attorney General to dismiss the federal cases against him. This video discusses why the Supreme Court should neither grant the stay/pause of Trump's DC trial for attempting to overturn the 2020 presidential election nor take the case of presidential immunity up on appeal.
