5.5 earthquake and aftershocks hit Northern California |

An earthquake measuring 5.5 and several aftershocks, including a 5.2 magnitude shaker, hit Plumas County in Northern California near Lake Almanor. The quake caused minor damage at a resort where liquor bottles and dishes fell and broke in the shaking.
