Thalapathi Vijay Mersal director is Atlee. Mersal is produced by Thenandal Studio Limited and it is their 100th production venture. Mersal has Kajal Aggarwal, Nithya Menen, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, SJ Surya, Misha Ghoshal, Vadivelu, Kovai Sarala, Sathyan and Yogi Babu along with Thalapathi. A R Rahman composes the songs and the background score. Mersal audio launch was held in grandeur at Nehru Indoor Stadium on 20th August 2017. Mersal team announced the teaser launch date. Mersal teaser will be released on 3rd September at midnight 12.
