Following an earlier altercation, Snoop, Lee, and Sean Abrams were headed to the studio before they turned around to pick up the DAT player Daz left behind. On the way back to the apartment, their car was waved down by one of the men present during the earlier argument. The man tried apologizing for his friend's behavior and blamed it on him not taking his medication for diabetes. At that point, the man emerged from the bushes and pushed the friend out of the way. Lee claimed the man reached and he reacted and fired six shots.
