The 'Your Community, Your Budget, Your Choice' project put local people in charge of what support services they wanted to see in their communities.

Perth & Kinross Health and Social Care Partnership wants to give local communities a major say in how money is spent on their services.

In October 2016 we asked individuals, community groups, informal groups of friends and neighbours, and non-profit organisations to get in touch with ideas about projects they thought could help adults with health, care and support needs. We called this participatory budgeting project "Your Community, Your Budget, Your Choice".

Grants of up to £4,000 (paid over two years) were made available to put people's ideas into action to support adults in Crieff, Rattray and Craigie.

Events were held in each of the local communities where people were asked to vote for their preferred new services from a list put forward by local people and organisations.

A total of 21 new community projects received funding, and another 42 projects received part-funding as a result of the project.
