Religious-inspired violence and peacemaking are more robust today than ever. There has been a resurgence of religious claims and justifications in politics. At the same time we've seen the growth of faith-based humanitarian and peacemaking activities, from Pope Francis visiting Bethlehem and the Western Wall to the local church efforts to eradicate Ebola.
