Hans Rosling - The Statistician that proved overpopulation will not happen

Hans Rosling was a Swedish physician, academic, and public speaker. He studied statistics and medicine in Uppsala university Sweden and while working in Africa got interested in developmental economics. He developed a uniquely theatrical style of presenting hard data thatcaptured the world’s imagination. Struggling against dyslexia and serious liver disease, he made documentaries and went around the world presenting his eye-opening animated statistics. He also co-founder Gapminder Foundation to make data accessible to all. Rosling changed the perceptions and prejudices held by the west against the third world countries.
