And of course, when discussing synthetic lubricants, the conversation begins with Al Amatuzio, the man who took his knowledge from synthetics in jet engines and applied them to the automotive industry.

Amatuzio went on to found Amsoil, a company widely considered to be the leader in synthetic lubricants.
