There are pros and cons to both of these procedures which I discuss in detail in this video.


GreenLight creates a cavity in the centre of the prostate by removing excess, overgrown tissue. UroLift removes no tissue but staples the enlarged tissue out of the way. Both result in unobstruction of the bladder with improvement in urinary issues. There are subtle differences between the two and not all prostates are suitable for each procedure.
