CCTV footage shows a Ukrainian air defence system intercepting Russian combat drones fired over Kyiv on Monday.

Volodymyr Zelensky said he had received intelligence reports suggesting Moscow would launch prolonged attacks using Iranian-made Shahed drones.

Ukraine's President said Putin was aiming at the exhaustion of the Ukrainian people, air defence and energy sector.

He revealed Ukraine had already shot down more than 80 Russian drones by the 2nd of January and expects this number to increase.
