Hey everyone, I'm finally ready to share with you my remix of Doja Cat - Women that I've been working on for the past 6 months now. Sorry for this long delay. I have been quite busy with my studies and college for the last few months, while still working on music every now and then.

My inspiration for this project came when I was scrolling through the Instagram reels and started tapping on the table that went with the original music. That's when I knew I got something. I went straight to my laptop, booted up my DAW, and put down the claps you hear in this remix. And there, that was the beginning of this wonderful journey into producing this piece.
You see, every music project is like a story with a certain learning curve to it. When I initially started with this project, I didn't know a thing about producing slap house music. This project not only gave me an opportunity to showcase my musical creativity but also a wonderful opportunity to learn more about music and sound design. I spent the first 1-2 months learning about this genre. I heard other slap house remixes like the Goosebumps HVME Remix, Balenciaga Slap house remix, and many more, which further inspired me to make something of my own. As I proceeded further I faced a brick wall of Sound design. I couldn't quite get the vibe and the energy I was looking for with the amateur sounds I had. I had to finally plunge myself into the world of Sound designing to get the sounds right. Which again took me another 1-2 months to understand and come up with what I needed. By this time, I was completely exhausted and bored with this project. I wanted to scrap it and start something else, but my friends really kept me motivated. They really helped to finish this project for good. I appreciate the tremendous support I got from my homies. In the end, it turned out pretty satisfactory and I think I did a decent job. I'll be working more on my skills and coming up with even better music next time. For now, I hope you guys enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed producing it.
