Aortic Valve Disease: Treatment Options Including TAVR |
|
Aortic stenosis occurs when the heart's aortic valve narrows. This narrowing reduces or blocks blood flow from your heart into the main artery in your body (aorta) and onward to the rest of your body. Aortic stenosis cannot be medically reversed or stopped and requires surgical intervention to treat. At this seminar, learn about aortic valve replacement options, including minimally invasive procedures and TAVR (transcatheter aortic valve replacement).
