Finland joining Nato would not be 'against anyone', its president stresses

Finland has not yet become a member of  Nato, the intergovernmental military alliance, but the country's president said it would be to 'maximise security' and not be in any way offensive.

Niinstro was speaking at a joint news conference with UK prime minister Boris Johnson, after signing a new security agreement that would involve Britain providing military assistance if Finland is attacked
