Stars dressed to the nines graced the red carpet in Cannes on Friday (May 20) as the illustrious film festival marked its fourth day.

George Miller's fantasy romance, "Three Thousand Years of Longing", premiered with cast members Idris Elba and Tilda Swinton joining Miller on the red carpet in the evening.

Actor Casey Affleck donned a smart tuxedo, accompanied by girlfriend Caylee Cowan in a trailing red gown.

Instagram star Marta Lozano brought a pop of neon to the red carpet, wearing a bright yellow strapless dress while model Alessandra Ambrosio sparkled in a disco ball like silver look.

Proving it is never too soon to walk the red carpet, one guest brought her baby who sported their own tuxedo.

Other premieres on day four included Tarik Saleh's political thriller "Boy From Heaven" and Arnaud Desplechin's drama "Brother and Sister".

Cannes Film Festival this year celebrates its 75th anniversary and closes on May 28.
