Explaining how extensive social media and internet use can cause/reinforce Anxiety Disorder and ADHD.
The tips provided are meant to prevent mental disorders NOT treat them. Anxiety Disorder and ADHD should be taken seriously and when present be looked at by medical professionals. This video is a part of my series about digitalization and mental health. I would suggest to watch the intro video and first episode before you watch this video (which is the second episode). What I messed up though are the terms. There is no "HD" and the term "ADD" is obsolete. You always say ADHD no matter what of the mentioned symptoms are present. | Sources | Anxiety Disorders https://www.nimh.nih.gov/health/topics/anxiety-disorders Attention-Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder https://www.nimh.nih.gov/health/topics/attention-deficit-hyperactivity-disorder-adhd Studies that link internet use to Anxiety Disorder/ADHD https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/pdf/10.1080/01463379309369906?needAccess=true https://www.health.harvard.edu/blog/can-cell-phone-use-cause-adhd-2018073114375 |
