In Bangladesh, most of the rural areas people still think that Menstruation is a taboo subject. Through the KAP (Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice) Survey, we have seen most of the girls are absent in school during their menstruation and they have not proper knowledge on Menstruation. As a result, they have affected by reproductive tract infection.

To reduce misconception on Menstruation and increasing the knowledge on healthy practice GNB have taken a special project on Menstrual Hygiene Management with 12 Secondary Schools from 3 working areas.

GNB has arranged a "Training of Trainers-ToT" program on Menstrual Hygiene Management with the representative (School Teachers) of 12 Secondary School from 3 working areas at NDP, Sirajganj.

This project contributes to achieving SDG 3, 4, 5, 6, 10 and 16.
