This webinar on Arctic Governance features Dr. Margherita Paola Poto, Researcher in the Faculty of Law at the Arctic University of Norway (UiT) and the Norwegian Centre for the Law of the Sea (NCLOS). Dr. Poto begins with a historical overview of international law and its impact on the Arctic region to this day. Dr. Poto further discusses the need to incorporate Indigenous knowledges to the international legal frameworks that govern the Arctic.

This series offers a transdisciplinary look at key global health challenges and opportunities in the High North.
