The Voice India is back with its second season and from what it looks like, this time too there are gonna be some crackling performances on the show. Last week was the premiere episode of the show and this week the judges Shaan, Neeti, Benny and Salim decide who which contestant will be a part of their teams. So here’s taking a look at the contestants who will be trying their luck on the show to become The Voice of India.

Jahanvi Sangha 17 year old from jalandhar talks about her emotional journey about how she wants to become a renowned singer for her grandmother. She lost both her parents at a very young age and now wants her granny to feel proud of her. She sings beintehaan from race 2 and ads her own touch to the song. All four judges – Shaan, Neeti Mohan, Benny Dayal and Salim Merchant are mighty impressed and he decided to take her in his team. Neeti even goes on to say that they should both be working together and she is so looking forward to it. After much contemplation, Jahanvi chooses to go in Neeti’s team.

Next contestant is Abhishek Mukharji who hails from Jharkhand. His father reveals his tough journey how when he came to Bombay he didn’t have money at all and he was struggling all alone. he sings Bol Na Halke Halke from Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Tashan and his sweet meldious voice won the hearts over of all four judges. Prateek Raj from Bihar is the next contestant on the show. He sings Teeja Tera Rang Tha Main Toh and the judges loved his performance too. He enters Team Shaan with a bang. The next voice is of 16 year old Molyshree from Jhansi. She sings Bhare Naina and not just the judges but the audience too is left spellbound. Benny decides to take her in his team. Madhur Dhir from Karnal is the next contestant who chose to sing Moh Moh Ke Dhaage from Dum Laga Ke Haisha and the judges were all praise for his unique tonality. Madhur picks Salim Merchant’s team. Nirvesh Dave who is 18 years old is from Gujarat and has had some experience in live shows and Gujarati movies. He sings Shahid Kapoor’s popular number Main Rang Sharbaton Ka and Neeti decide to take him in her team. Jaskaran Singh from Ludhiana is 16 years old and chose to sing Neele Neele Ambar Par and he too got selected in Neeti Mohan’s team.

Next is Karanjeet Kaur who is from Ranchi sang Chali Re from Jab Tak Hai Jaan (which is NEeti Mohan’s song, by the way) and Benny Dayal welcomes her to Team Benny. Guess whta? She even got the opportunity to sing the song with Neeti on the stage! That’s so cool..

So the second season of the show has kicked off on a great note with such promising voices. Let’s see what the next sepisode holds in store for us!
