Synopsis: After killing Jean Gray (Famke Janssen) to save mankind because she cannot control the powers of the Phoenix, Logan (Hugh Jackman) decided to abandon the hero's life for good and started living in the jungle, like a hermit. Depressed, he is found in a bar by young Yukio (Rila Fukushima). She was sent at the behest of her adopted father, Yashida (Hal Yamanouchi), who was saved by Logan in Nagasaki, Japan, at the time the atomic bomb was detonated. Yashima wants to meet Logan again to make him a proposal: to transfer his healing factor to him, so that Logan can finally become mortal and lead a life like any other person. He refuses the invitation, but ends up infected by Viper (Svetlana Khodchenkova), a mutant specialized in biology who is also immune to poisons of all kinds. Fragilized, Logan needs to find ways to protect Mariko (Tao Okamoto), Yashida's granddaughter, who is targeted by both her father, Shingen (Hiroyuki Sanada) and Yakuza, the Japanese mafia.

Deprimido, ele é encontrado em um bar pela jovem Yukio (Rila Fukushima). Ela foi lançada um mando de seu pai adotivo, Yashida (Hal Yamanouchi), que foi salva por Logan em Nagasaki, no Japão, na época em que uma bomba atômica foi detonada.
