Kevin Durant suffered an injury during Game 5 of the 2019 NBA finals. He re-injured his right Achilles tendon after previously injuring his calf during the Western Conference final on May 8, 2019. Kevin Durant had previously been off for a month missing much of the NBA finals. However, despite his Achilles injury (officially described as a calf strain), he returned to the Golden State Warriors to rally his team. However, things did not go as planned and he suffered what is likely an Achilles rupture. In this video, I will discuss the Kevin Durant injury in detail. We will review the Achilles injury, and watch the actual Achilles tear in slow motion. I will show you exactly why I am so confident that the Kevin Durant injury is in fact, an Achilles rupture.
