My reaction video to creator Josh Brett, (Why Does Everyone Hate CrossFit?)

I recently received feedback from a friend, stating she will not be returning to CrossFit. I Cannot help but feel this is due to negative comments she has received. It is true the wider community does have a negative connotation with CrossFit.

In this video Josh Brett, accurately portrays the community opinion on CrossFit (one of hate). I want to offer a rebuttal...

The CrossFit community regularly receives unjust publicity. It is not uncommon to hear of memes or footage displaying poor form/silly movements. In reality, these displays are from minority sections of the CrossFit community. Yes... People injure themselves doing CrossFit, yet injuries are not uncommon in any sport which pushes the body to its limits. I am yet to find a Box which does not promote good form. When a novice lifter walks into the gym they are always encouraged to start light in an effort to minimise risk whilst learning. I do have the opinion that CrossFit is perfect. I believe Josh brings up several points where frankly CrossFit needs to learn from.
