Officers from the country's anti-corruption unit, the National Accountability Bureau, broke into the room where Khan was and whisked him into a military vehicle. Officials said arrest warrants for Khan had been issued last week in a separate graft case, for which he had not obtained bail. Khan faces charges in various corruption cases including terrorism charges. He says these are part of a plot to discredit him.
