Madden NFL 23 is a bad game. But it's only the latest bad Madden. Over the last decade and a half, Madden has been spiraling out of control. Not only are older Madden titles like Madden 07 on the PlayStation 2 deeper games, but other titles from that era such as NFL GameDay and ESPN NFL 2K5 also do a lot of things better than Madden 23. It's a bad game with a perfect storm of chaos allowing it to be successful. It's a scam.
