Despite seeking safety, residents find themselves surrounded by intense Israeli bombardment, facing danger in places like Rafah, Khan Younis, Jabalia, and Nuseirat. Safety is perceived as dependent solely on divine protection, especially now with Israeli troops present. Despite international condemnation, Israeli forces have advanced further into Rafah, with the army preparing to expand operations in Gaza's southernmost city. As a result, around 600,000 people have evacuated to places like Deir el-Balah in Central Gaza.
