The complete DVD is over 1 hour of narration & demonstration by Master Period Model Ship Builder Leon Griffiths. The technique is demonstrated while Leon Griffiths installs copper plates on a model of the HMS Sirius, Flag Ship of the First Fleet which arrived in Port Jackson in January 1788.

The DVD shows the modeller every step in the copper plating process. The lessons demonstrated are applicable to the building of other period ship models. Leon presents his many model ship building tips and techniques.
