President Obama recently visited the nation of Laos in Southeast Asia to acknowledge the deadly legacy of what has become known as the CIA’s Secret War. The Minnesota Memorial to Special Forces in Laos was dedicated Saturday, June 11, on the grounds of the Minnesota State Capitol. The memorial is a tribute to the men and women who served in alliance with the United States Armed Forces during the Secret War in Laos from 1961 to 1975.
