Leonardo DiCaprio preps himself for the Oscars, winning Best Actor for The Revenant at the 73rd annual Golden Globes!
Leonardo DiCaprio humbly accepted the Best Actor award at The Golden Globes with a lengthy speech, complete with a massive standing ovation!
Despite a controversial release for the film, The Revenant really features some stellar acting. That acting was recognized at the 2016 Golden Globes as Leonardo DiCaprio won Best Actor in a Motion Picture, Drama presented by Julianne Moore. Leo started by congratulating his fellow nominees in the category, the Director Alejandro Inarritu, and co-star Tom Hardy. And when the speech cutoff music began to play in the background he took no notice! Carry on Leo…
Leonardo continued on sincerely thanking those that were dedicated to making the film, his makeup artist, his friends, his parents, and lastly making a call to action to protect the indigenous communities around the world.
