NETFLIX REACTS TO DISNEY PLUS 2
The heads of Disney+ and Netflix have a meeting to check-in on the state of their streaming services in 2020. Let’s face it, Disney has been having a rough time this year as a company with park closures and movie theater closures. They've had to delay huge movies like Mulan and the next phase of Marvel movie release. All the while, Netflix has been reaping the benefits of everyone being stuck at home, increasing their stream dominance. However, this reliance on home entertainment has only bolstered the importance of Disney Plus to Disney, and accelerated it's subscriber growth too. They now have a pop culture hit Star Wars show, The Mandalorian, and some big Disney Plus Marvel series on the horizon as well. So, who really is the winner this year?
