Try this easy "hack" to instantly do more pullups!
A brief, intense isometric warmup like this puts a HIGH amount of force through our body and primes it for heavy loads. This makes our regular set seem easy. This was taught to me as the "immediate after-effect" of isometrics, but I can't find anywhere that corroborates that. Call it the "oogabooga effect" if you want. It does seem to really help. The time numbers are not set in stone. I suspect they depend on the individual's conditioning.
