Camposol Explorers September Outing 2021
It’s been a whole year now that I started Camposol Explorers and it was just Steve and I. Bigger group, we set off in the rain. Keeping within the Murcia Region we went to “Sanctuary of our Lady of the Holy Fountain”.Lovely church over looking Murcia City. We had a look around and then had coffee. Moved onto our second location to the view point looking over the whole of Murcia City. Our last location was “Cabezo Gordo”, a mountain with caves and tunnels. Manly used for mining in the old days but recently in 1991 they found human bones, neanderthal man of 50,000 years ago. There is a notice board outside the cave telling you all about the bones they found. Mandy and the kids stayed in the car while the others explored the tunnel.

Our next trip in October will be “Guadalest”. El Castell de Guadalest or simply Guadalest is a Valencian town located in the province of Alicante, Spain.
