What do we do when all the treatments fail and we try to get infertility treated? It is devastating for a lot of them to see that their treatment fails. However, this is not the end of this. What people require is persistence, most often it is seen that persistent pays. Sometimes it is seen that not all of them have to undergo the same treatment cycle or have to change the treatment cycle, maybe just needed that they stick with the same treatment cycles and undergo several cycles of the same treatment, for example, person who is undergoing ovulation induction with clomiphene citrate may fail in one attempt, but however when these cycles are undergone several times over. So that can be devastating as well all of us put a lot of time, effort and emotional stress when it comes to infertility procedures. What to do if IVF fails. We can discuss with our clinician to know what other options we can take in the next cycle to improve the success. Some measures to think is changing the treatment protocol or the ovulation-inducing drugs that we use or in some cases, we can think of ICSI. There are also other methods such as genetic methods such as genetic methods like PGS, PGD. These can be combined with ERA or an endometrial receptive assay or a laser assisted hatching to get better implantation and better IVF success rates, there are people who have undergone 2 or 3 cycles of IVF, what happens if all else fails, then we have to use donor gametes, donor eggs, and donor sperms and look at donor cycle IVF.
