The South African National Editors' Forum has condemned the physical and verbal abuse of journalists by supporters of former President Jacob Zuma outside his Nkandla home, in northern KwaZulu-Natal. On Sunday, SABC Senior Political Reporter Samkele Maseko was physically attacked by one of Zuma's supporters. SANEF chairperson Sbu Ngalwa witnessed the incident and intervened to remove Maseko from the volatile situation.
