This session is a presentation by Sabina Saksena, Founder and CEO of Cytilife, a smart campus company that has been working with leading schools like Georgia Tech, Duke University, and others The session will focus on why smart campuses are the future as they leverage smart technologies such as IoT, AI, and mobile technologies that can help campuses safely reopen by automating pandemic-specific controls such as safe distancing, capacity control in communal spaces, and sharing information In real time with all stakeholders including students and administrators, thereby helping mitigate the risks. In addition, smart-campus deployment can improve student productivity, safety, and engagement during these tough times, and it can help administrators track utilization of the existing physical infrastructure and services and obtain data to make smarter decisions about the future of staffing, the expansion or contraction of physical spaces and services, and investments and reducing costs. The audience will learn how smart-campus uses cases work alongside the existing wired and wireless infrastructure to deliver value to everyone during these tough times, as well as use data to help reinvent for the future.
