Join us this evening as we (my cousin Zan and myself) test out the FIrebox Stove. This being its maiden voyage, we thought it prudent to test it on the back stoop and not while starving on some ridge in the freezing back country...and GOOD thing too as the wood I sourced was not dry enough to catch aflame. Thanks to the back up Esbit Alcohol Stove, supper was a success. We cooked eye of round steaks, marinated 30 minutes in "worchestershire", pepper, and cajun seasoning, in Kerrigold Irish Unsalted butter. Followed by mushrooms cooked down in the drippings. Paired with caesar salad and Hendricks martinis. Superb.
While the mushrooms cooked we chose to serenade you with a couple songs. Hope you enjoy!
