Katie wanted to plan something special for when she asked Mikayla to be her wife. So, she contacted us months in advance to set up the perfect plan for a surprise engagement in the beautiful Pacific Northwest! While the Covid restrictions and the wildfires forced a few last minute changes, everything went perfectly! They flew across the country to Washington State and met us at a pre-determined forest location in Snoqualmie-Mt Baker National Forest. We (along with the photographer) pretended to be making a video for the National Forest Service, and we asked them if we could do a short interview. During the interview, Katie got down on one knee and asked Mick to be her wife. Her response, "You beat me to it!"

I don't usually cry while filming couples, but this day was an exception. These two are so sweet and I'm so glad we got to be part of such a magical moment.
