وہ دیکھو نور سے ملنے زمیں سے نور جاتا ہے
شبِ معراج ہے عرشِ معلی مسکراتا ہے
نبی نے مسجدِ اقصی میں نبیوں کی امامت کی
سواری مصطفے کی انبیاء نے خوب رخصت کی
فضا صندل بنی،نکہت سے شب نے خوب زینت کی
کہ نقارہ بجا آفاق میں آمد ہے رحمت کی
جسے دیکھو وہ اپنے آپ کا چہرہ سجاتا ہے
شبِ معراج ہے عرشِ معلی مسکراتا ہے
وہ رف رف جھومتی جاتی ہے مہماں کی سعادت سے
وہ جبریلِ امیں اِترا رہے ہیں آج نصرت سے
فرشتے صف بنا کے باادب ہیں خوب حسرت سے
چمک اُٹھا فلک بھی پاؤں کے بوسوں کی لذت سے
چراغاں ہو گئے عالم،عرب سے چاند آیا ہے
شبِ معراج ہے عرشِ معلی مسکراتا ہے
ستاروں کے مقدر کے ستارے آج چمکے ہیں
کہ ساتوں آسمانوں کے کنارے آج چمکے ہیں
جو مرجھا ئے پڑے تھے وہ نظارے آج چمکے ہیں
ملائک حور عرش و فرش سارے آج چمکے ہیں
چمکتی ہے وہ جنت آج سِدرہ جھلملاتا ہے
شبِ معراج ہے عرشِ معلی مسکراتا ہے
کہ سدرہ سے بھی آگے میرے آقا کی رسائی ہے
رسول اللہ اِس جانب ،اُدھر ساری خدائی ہے
مبارک ہو مبارک ہو عروجِ پارسائی ہے
وصالِ عشق ہے پردوں میں انوارِ عطائی ہے
مسرت سے کہاں اب وقت کو بھی ہوش آتا ہے
شبِ معراج ہے عرشِ معلی مسکراتا ہے

English Lyrics:
There the Light is going to meet the light from the Earth,
It's the night of Mairaaj, the Mightiest Throne is smiling,

The Prophet (S.A.W) led the prayers of all other Prophets
The Prophets were pleased and set him off for the journey,
The atmosphere became sandal and fragrance made it charming
The sky announced the arrival of the Prophet

Everyone is busy to groom itself
It's the night of Mairaaj, the Mightiest Throne is smiling,

The raff raff is dancing because of the arrival of the guest
Jibra'eel is coming down with the blessing of God
The Angels are standing in rows desirous (to meet)
The sky is shining more than ever due to his arrival

Everything is lighten up, a moon (Prophet) has come from Arab
It's the night of Mairaaj, the Mightiest Throne is smiling,

The stars of the fortune of stars has brighten up today
The edges of all the seven skies has brighten up today
Those scenes which were faded has brighten up today
The angels, nymph of heavens Throne and earth all are brighten up today

The Heavens are lighten up and Sidra al Muntaha is dancing
It's the night of Mairaaj, the Mightiest Throne is smiling,

My sire has approach even farther than Sidra Al Muntaha
Prophet of ALLAH towards one side and the Lord towards other side.
Congratulations! It is the height of virtue
Upon the meeting of both, there is light and only light

Even the time is faded away due to the pleasure of his arrival
It's the night of Mairaaj, the Mightiest Throne is smiling,
