Thousands homeless as Peru struggles with intense flooding

Abnormally high sea temperatures have resulted in heavy rains and flooding in Peru, the worst the country has experienced in two decades.

So far this year, rains and floods have killed 70 people and officials have said more than 70,000 have been left homeless. Authorities have shut schools as more than half the country is under a state of emergency. CGTN's Dan Collyns has the story.
