Croatia and Belgium squared off in the final group stage matchup at the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The first half was a slow one as there were no shots on goal by either team. There was a penalty called in the box for Belgium but it was taken away due to offside position. Belgium had their best chance of the game in the second half when Yannick Carrasco’s shot went off the goalkeeper and Romelu Lukaku followed up, but his shot hit the post. Belgium just couldn’t get anything going after that and would draw 0-0 with Croatia, eliminating them from the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
