Forks Over Knives course: https://forksoverknives.com/cooking-course/#gs.3fbakk You can also find the Rouxbe Plant Based PRO Certification here: https://rouxbe.go2cloud.org/SH2z Here's what you'll need to make this easy plant based egg alternative: 1/2 cup yellow split peas OR PEELED SPLIT mung beans are BEST!! (soaked overnight) 1/2 to 3/4 cup unsweetened pea or oat milk (enough to make a thin pancake batter consistency) 1 tsp each onion and garlic powder 1 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp sea salt 1/4 tsp turmeric 1/8 tsp black pepper Serve with a sprinkling of black salt (kala namak) for that "eggy" taste. If you cook it in, you will lose that flavour! Watch the video to see how I made these super simple vegan "eggs." Cook them until their completely cooked through (times will vary depending on how you're using them.) Honestly, this was an experiment, as I had recently tried "Just Egg" and really enjoyed it. They are made with PEELED split mung beans (but I could not find those in my local grocery store) so I decided to experiment with split yellow peas instead. !!!!!UPDATE I found them and made this with peeled split (this is key) mung beans and they were even BETTER!!!
