Produced by Stewart Bell Music © Stewart Bell Tactile Induction Exercise for Sleep Paralysis - Go to your bed during the day and lie for a little while then get up, while you're still awake, then with your eyes still closed feel your way across your room to the bedroom door then out into the hall, living room etc. Pick objects on the way, like a chest of drawers, a door handle, the wall, a radiator etc and run your hands over them, taking in all the detail as you go. When you get all the way to your chosen destination, pick a final object (eg. arm of a seat ) and while you are feeling it open your eyes and imagine you are in a dream. Next time you're in sleep paralysis, stay calm, and run through this exercise in your mind. Imagine yourself getting up from bed, feeling your way across the room etc just as before. You might run through it a few times and feel as if you're just lying in bed imagining it all but, If you stay focused and keep repeating it, you will start to feel that you are actually touching the objects then your dream eyes will open and you'll be in. For some reason it's easier to induce the dream (OBE) with the tactile senses then once you're in the visuals will switch on. Works for me every time :) |
