AR Murugadoss is directing an untitled Tamil-language film, referred to by the media as Thalapathy 62.

It features Vijay and Keerthy Suresh in the lead roles. The film began production in January 2018, and is scheduled to be released in 7 November of that year, coinciding with Diwali.
